Top best accepted papers will be invited to a Book Chapter after the conference concludes in an academic book published by IGI Global.

Accepted papers will be published in reputable journals indexed in several excellent databases including: Scopus, Compendex [formerly Ei], (Elsevier), ACM Library, and ProQuest.

Ayse participated in various research projects for UN, Nato and the European Commission. Currently, she is working on her second higher degree about organizational learning at Oxford while working as an adjunct faculty member at Bogazici University in her home town Istanbul. Ayse is also passionate about philanthropy and is the the co-founder of the first non-profit Mooc in Turkey.

*The first author pays full registration fees, while the second and subsequent pays a “co-author” fees. This applies only in case that two or more authors of the same paper attend the conference. Otherwise, if the first author does not attend the conference, the second author or subsequent author has to pay a full registration fees (not the co-author fees).

Important Notes :

Registration is only confirmed when full payment is received.

For each accepted paper, At least one author must register and pay the full registration fees. Completed registration is required for all accepted papers that are to be included in the conference proceedings.

Cancellation Policy :

If cancellation is necessary for any reason, a written notification to conference organizers is required no later than 6 weeks from event date for a refund of actual registration fees paid, less a 50% cancellation fee + handling and processing charges. No refunds will be made for cancellations 4 weeks or less before event date.
Refunds are not available for those who do not cancel and do not attend. Written notification of cancellations should be sent by email to conference organizers. You may change your registration information or make substitutions without penalty at any time up to the start of the conference. To make changes to your registration information, email a request to the conference organizers.
Should it become necessary, for any reason beyond conference organizers’ control, to cancel or postpone this event, we will provide as much advance notice as possible to all registered participants. Conference organizers will then refund all conference registration fees in full minus handling and bank charges upon having announced any such decision. Should such action be required, Center for European and Middle Eastern Studies and conference organizers cannot be held responsible for the cost of non-refundable airline tickets, lodging, transportation, or other travel costs. By registering for this event you agree to hold Center for European and Middle Eastern Studies and conference organizers harmless and non-liable for any costs whatsoever should Center for European and Middle Eastern Studies and conference organizers need to cancel or postpone because of events beyond their control.

The abstract should not exceed 300 words.

Within two weeks from receiving your abstract we will let you know if your proposal is accepted. All accepted abstracts and papers are peer-reviewed and will be published in the conference abstract eBook on our website.

Presentation: You will have up to 15 minutes time for your presentation. It is recommended to speak no longer than 10 minutes and let at least 5 minutes for discussion. Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive. Each presentation room will be equipped with a laptop and a screen for PowerPoint presentations.

The laptop will be set up for power-point presentations. Transparency projectors are not provided. Assume there may not be internet access.
